A lot of people didn't like Hancock. They were looking for more action-packed, hilarious scenes just as they saw in the trailer. If that's what you're looking for as well and you haven't watched the movie, you may want to skip this one or to postpone watching it until you've ran out of movies (like that'll ever happen).
I actually liked Hancock. Wanted was more exhilarating but Hancock was more "nudging". I don't know how to put it but it was the kind of movie that made me think about "gods, angels, and now superheroes" and it kind of "nudged" me to realize that if we did have superheroes, we really wouldn't have a scientific explanation where they came from.
Superheroes are just there. And they're made up of the basic components of human beings: love or lack of it.
