The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

It has been a long while since I watched a real movie.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, or The Odd Case of Benjamin Button as entitled in its earlier release, is a story about a boy who was born in 1981, the end of World War 1. The boy, played by Brad Pitt, was born a freak. He was born as an old man, with all the bodily complications of an old man about to die: lack (instead of loss) of hearing, rheumatism, wrinkled skin, weakness, impaired eyesight, etc.

As the boy grew, so did he grew out of his "condition". He grew in reverse - from an octogenarian, into a body of a middle aged man, into a young adult, further into adolescence, and onto the body of a babe. He grew young while his old, young friend grew old.
